Senior Bereavement Counsellor Vacancy

Salary: £16,216-£17,655 per annum (FTE £27,027-£29,425 per annum)

Hours: 22.5 hours (3 days per week)

Location: Bassetlaw

Closing Date: Monday 11th September 2023 at 5pm.

Interview date: Wednesday 20th September 2023

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced person-centred Bereavement Counsellor to build on existing successful services in Nottinghamshire, to help expand the range of support to benefit local children and families affected by terminal-illness or the death of someone important to them.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering both 1:1 support and group activities, carrying out family assessments, supporting volunteer bereavement support workers (if taking on the Senior Counsellor role) and contributing to future strategic planning.

As an ambitious charity with high demand for support in Nottinghamshire we are seeking a counsellor/therapist to provide holistic person-centered services to benefit as many bereaved families as possible.  If you are as passionate as we are, we would love to hear from you.
