I’ve worked with children in a variety of settings for over 25 years, with my most recent school-based role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, where I ran a Nurture Group in an infant school, supporting children with their emotional wellbeing and development. During my time in school, I also held roles as an office and finance administrator, giving me valuable experience across many aspects of school life. In addition, I have worked as a GP receptionist, developing strong organisational and communication skills.

I moved to Newark five years ago and have been part of the Children's Bereavement Centre team for the past four years. I love the variety my role offers and enjoy being involved in all aspects of the charity, supporting children, young people, and families while helping the organisation make a positive difference in the local community.
