Children’s Bereavement Centre Annual Concert Draws Record Audience and Raises Over £2,000
The Children’s Bereavement Centre is celebrating the success of its annual fundraising concert after a wonderful afternoon of music, community spirit and support raised more than £2,000 for local bereaved children and young people.
Held at the Palace Theatre, the event welcomed a record audience of 250 people, with 50 musicians, 33 choir members, volunteers and supporters all coming together for a memorable afternoon of movie and musical favourites.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated and supported the event, along with our host Simon Gabbitas, the Palace Theatre team and Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra.
The impact of this support reaches far beyond one afternoon of music. The £2,000 raised could fund 80 specialist bereavement support sessions, providing eight weeks of free one-to-one counselling for 10 children and their families at one of the most devastating times of their lives.
Together, you are helping ensure children and young people receive the support they need, when they need it most.
